THE SPACE ALIEN MAKES A BIG MISTAKE

 The Space Alien made a VERY BIG MISTAKE!

 Having lived in Chicago for so very long, it was a mistake to move to a place called Pillars of Prospect Park at 22 Malcolm Avenue SE, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55104.

This place is said to be near the historic Prospect Park neighborhood, near the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus. 

One of the worst things about this place is that it lists NO religious services listed on its great big schedule.   

Nothing listed on Sundays but something called "tech sessions" and other weird titles, 

Nothing listed on Friday Nights and Saturdays but movies and activity groups.   

What a horrid situation.

Death is the only release.

An Event of February 12, 2026

Today is Thursday, February 12.   

Abraham Lincoln was born February 12, 1809.   The Space Alien believes this would be a good day to discuss this famous president and his many accomplishments.  

February 12 is also the birthday of Charles Darwin.  

I wish we could have talked about that!

Other famous things happened on February 12 which are easily found online.

But today, February 12, 2026, my son J and his wife A were here, to visit me, not to discuss Abraham Lincoln, or Charles Darwin, or any other famous historical events, but to to scold me!

Taking a shower is what they were scolding me about!

There is a shower right in my bathroom and I use it every few days.  More than that is irritating and I really do not need it. 

But all they wanted to talk about was taking a shower.

THE ASSOCIATION OF SAINT VALENTINE WITH LOVE DEVELOPED YEARS LATER, AROUND THE MIDDLE AGES. HE IS THE PATRON SAINT OF LOVERS, EPILEPSY AND BEEKEEPERS, AMONG OTHERS.   '

 February can be a cold, cold month.  

But right in the middle of that cold month, is a very special day!

February 14 is St. Valentine's Day!  

Who was St. Valentine?

"Saint Valentine was a 3rd century Roman saint, likely a priest or bishop, martyred around 269-270 A.D. during the reign of Emperor Claudius II.  He is the patron saint of love, engaged couples, and happy marriages, traditionally associated with February 14th for secretly marrying couples to prevent men from going to war.     

Key details about St. Valentine include:

  -- Legends of Defiance: Saint Valentine is believed to have defied Emperor Claudius II's decree that young men should remain single to be better soldiers, choosing instead to secretly marry them.
